Summer Wedding at Kinettle’s Castle

What could be more perfect than the setting of Kinettles Castle to get married at? We absolutely fell in love with this venue as soon as we drove up the driveway and seen the AMAZING and beautiful grounds. It was like we had arrived at a sweet shop and turned into children again (except we are still like that in a sweet shop haha!) We adored photographing Eilidh & Greig’s wedding day, from their relaxed personalities to their family and friends being so warm and accepting towards us it was a fantastic day.

We arrived nice and early to photograph both sets of party’s getting ready, it was so lovely as they both got ready at Kinettle’s Castle, so myself and heather split up and went out with both sets of details firstly and then captured the natural moments throughout the morning.

What did we love throughout their day? To mention a few wonderful moments I would say Eilidh coming down the stairs and making her way across the castle grounds to Greig – it was so breath taking and also always an emotional moment! We also loved the view during the ceremony, it could not have been a more perfect day for the setting – the sky was so clear! We had the best time getting everyone to chuck confetti over the couple and then we really loved letting them have some mingling time to greet their guests (you always get such lovely candids) before taking them away for some more intimate moments together. The only thing that caused havoc on the day was the angry wasps that tried to sabotage and steal the spotlight (we can’t guarantee no wasps were harmed during this time – like we said they were evil!)

Moving on to the evening we LOVED that Eilidh’s dress changed and her sleeves came off. We wanted to create a more edgy couple shoot later on in the day for them and showcased the couple how they are – very quirky! We had the most amazing day with these two and it’s for sure up there in our favourite venue list and best days. We wish we could do it all over again and wish this happy couple an amazing life together as husband and wife.
