Capture the beauty of your treasured baby bump with a pregnancy photoshoot! Our Maternity & Pregnancy Photography packages start from just £395.
Make sure you capture every stage of the incredible process of having a child with one of our maternity mini-sessions. During pregnancy your baby hears you and reacts to your emotions. We work to capture the connection you and your baby have at this special stage.
The photoshoot is a 30-minute session in which you will wear two different outfits. We have made the photoshoot shorter than our usual shoots because we know standing for extended periods while pregnant is tiring. After the shoot you will receive 5 High Resolution images, Sent via email download.
The best time for this photoshoot is around 30 – 32 weeks. This way your baby bump will be noticeable but you will also be able to manage the photoshoot without getting too tired.
Frequently asked questions
When is best to book my maternity shoot?
This is a very personal question as all pregnancies are so different, it really depends on how you feel and how much bump is showing. We normally recommend around 30 – 32 weeks. This way your baby bump will be noticeable but you will also be able to manage the photoshoot without getting too tired. Saying that we have done a good few shoots where Mum is at 38/39 weeks and managed so don’t panic if you have left it late.
Is there a deposit?
If you’d like to book, please get in touch to enquire about our availability. Once we’ve selected a day that suits, to secure your booking we will require a non refundable £50 deposit paid via bank transfer.
Who can attend the session?
We’re pretty flexible about this, it’s a great idea for both parents/siblings/furbabies to come along if possible as we can capture some family photos and it’s great to get to know all members of the family before the Newborn shoot or if you prefer it can be lovely to do it by yourself and to relax and treat yourself one last time before baby arrives.
How would I change outfits outside?
We have a changing tent we bring along to the photoshoot so don’t worry you are welcome to use that to do your outfit changes.
What should I/we wear?
We know it can be very difficult to choose an outfit that you feel comfortable and yourself in when you’re pregnant. We do have a few items of clothing for in the studio shoots and some nice natural dresses for outside shoots, you are more than welcome to use these as an extra outfit change during your shoot. Just a little note about our clothes is they are washed between each use for hygiene.
We would recommend looking through our maternity portfolio to get an idea of what other people have worn to their shoot and that will hopefully give you some inspiration.
A few clients in the past have treated them self to some new clothes that are in a larger size and then exchanged/returned them at a later date to their regular size.
Another idea is to have a look on Instagram/Pintrest and search the term ‘’what to wear to a Maternity shoot’’ you’ll come across loads of maxi dresses that very much say ‘’maternity shoot’’ so if you like this style then let us know as we have one or two of these dresses.
If you also search ‘’what to wear to a family shoot’’ you’ll find load of example of how to get colour, patterns, textures to compliment each other and normally gives you a more ‘’day to day look’’.
How long will it last?
The photoshoot is a 30 minute session, We have made the photoshoot shorter than our usual shoots because we know standing for extended periods while pregnant is tiring.
How many images will we get?
After the shoot you will receive 10 High Resolution images, Sent via email download and also receive a 8×6” colour copy print of your 10 images.
How will we get our images?
You will be sent your images via a digital download link, we use these for all of our galleries and they are password protected. It’s such a handy tool to have as you have not only download but favourite and shared with your friends and family. We can also see your activity which is great when it comes to ordering prints.
Can we bring props?
Yes of course, give us a little heads up of any props you would like to incorporate. We also bring along a nice blanket and ground sheet so that we can do some poses of you sitting on the ground for variation.
